Corruption is a very small word but it can have the power to destroy a country. We all live in a country which is full of corruption.Even a watchman can earn a lot of money by take bribe. And that is the truth. You can not earn a lot of money by doing your duty honestly and some times it takes so many taka to get a job.
Our system is badly injured by it. This is the biggest problem and that's why we can not improve our poverty or other problems as well. Many of us got government job inorder to give a vast amount. And he want his taka back. Do he start do illegal task for money. The government face it. And the people can not get proper service. If they want then they have to paid a lot.
So,If you got a government job that you can take bribe then you don’t need a good salary cause you earn a lot of money here. This system must be changed other wise our country will be destroy.

বেতন কত?
পরিচিত একজন একদিন বললো - আমার ভাই রোডস অ্যান্ড হাইওয়েতে আছে। ৩ কোটি টাকা দিয়ে আমাদের গ্রামের বাড়িতে বাড়ি করছে!! আমি বললাম, আপনার ভাইয়ের বেতন কত? গর্বে ভরা চেহারাটা মুহূর্তে ছাই হয়ে গেলো!
দোস্তো বলিস না, এই শালা ট্রাফিক পুলিশ, শালারা দুই টাকাও ঘুষ খায়!!দোস্তো, তোদের ফ্লাটে কত খরচ পড়েছে?-এই সব মিলে ৯৭ লাখ। তোর বাবা তো ট্যাক্সে আছে, বেতন কত? চেহারা আবারও ছাই।
এক আত্মীয়ের বাসায় গেলাম। সারা জীবন সততার বুলি আউড়িয়েছেন। মেয়ের জামাই চাকুরি করেন সিটি কর্পোরেশনে। খুব গর্ব করে বলছেন, তার মেয়ে ঘরের ফার্নিচার ৪/৫ বছর পরেই পাল্টায়। মেয়ে খুব সৌখিন। ৮০ লাখ টাকায় ফ্লাট কিনে আরও ৫০ লাখ টাকা খরচ করছে ইন্টেরিয়র কাজে! জিজ্ঞেস করলাম, ভাইজান, জামাইয়ের বেতন কতো?প্রশ্ন শুনে বেচারার মুখটা কালো হয়ে গেলো!
অনেক দিন পর ছোটবেলার এক বন্ধুর সাথে দেখা। সরকারি চাকরি করে, কথায় কথায় অনেক কিছু বলল, বাড়ি গাড়ি সবই করছে। দুই কোটি টাকা দিয়ে বাড়ি তৈরি করছে গ্রামে। ঢাকায় ফ্ল্যাট কিনছে আশি লক্ষ টাকা দিয়ে। জিগ্যেস করলাম কোন পোস্ট? বেতন কত? আর কোন উত্তর নাই! পরে জানতে পারলাম অফিস সহকারী।
কথা সত্যি এবং কি নিদারুণ সত্যি!
মেয়ের বিয়ে ঠিক হয়েছে। ছেলে কী করে? যদি ঘুষের ডিপার্টমেন্টের হয়, দেখবেন মেয়ের বাবা মা, ভাই বোন আর মেয়ের চেহারা খুশিতে কেমন চকচক করে!
অথচ এই যে অরাজকতা, এই যে ভেজাল জিনিস, এই যে উচ্চমূল্য, এই যে গলাকাটা সেবা, এই যে পেনশনের টাকা তুলতে ফাইলের পেছনে দৌড়াতে দৌড়াতে জুতার তলা ক্ষয় হয়ে যাওয়া, এই যে পরীক্ষায় ভালো করলেও চাকুরি না হওয়া -- এইসবের মূলে তো সেই দুর্নীতিবাজ শুয়োররা!
বিখ্যাত এক অর্থনীতিবিদ বলেছিলেন, "শুয়োরের বাচ্চাদের অর্থনীতি"! এই শুয়োরের বাচ্চারা কারা? এই লেখা পড়ে যাদের চেহারায় জুতার বাড়ি পড়বে, মুখ কালো হয়ে যাবে, তারাই!
