My aunt died early morning today. I realized that life is so short and death is certain. One may wake up today but not tomorrow.
Three things that are sure and real: death, heaven and hell. All of us will surely die maybe not now but surely death will come because that's the consequence of our sin. There are only two destinations for our soul after death and that is either heaven or hell. Which one would you want to spend your life in eternity? You may say that you will surely go to heaven because you're a good person and you follow the commandments of God but let us know what God has to say through His word.

1) Revelation 21: 8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
2) Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
3) Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
4) John 3 : 15 - 18
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
5) John 10: 27-29
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
We cannot avoid death when it's its time to come but one thing we can be sure of is the place where we will spend our life after death. Jesus made it easy for us. It's up to you to choose which one is best. May you TRUST JESUS NOW.
