Shapla flowers

There doesn't seem to be anyone in Bangladesh who doesn't know Shapla flowers. Water lily is our national flower. English name Water lily. Water lily can be seen everywhere in canals, beels, haors and rivers of Bangladesh. We are all fascinated by its beauty. There are about eighty varieties of water lilies in the world. Of these, white lily has been selected as our national flower. In addition, red water lily flowers are more or less visible all over Bangladesh. The biggest feature of Shapla flower is that it grows in water. It has a special status as a national flowerAs it is, the introduction of our flower started with Shapla flower.
