Poetry Rhythm

Types of Bengali rhyme: There are basically 3 rhythms of Bengali poetry - vowel circle, scale circle and letter circle. However, since the twentieth century, poets have also started writing poems in prose. Although this verse does not have that orderly arrangement, the melody remains intact, due to which the melody is embodied in the verse. However, in prose-based poems, if there is no balanced arrangement or phonetic arrangement of rhetoric, no beautiful analogy, no metaphor, the melody is lost, resulting in the fall of rhythm.
