The leftists and the democrats in the US and people with similar mindsets all around the world were cheering this "Indian" and "Muslim" boy and made him a hero overnight but the centrists and the right wing folks knew about him from day 1 and what a fraud he is, both ideologically and politically.
His popular Netflix show The Patriot Act got cancelled a few months back and I have to say i'm really surprised by the lack of coverage this story got in the mainstream media and how well this was put out from the public eye.

The producer of the show Nur Ibrahim tweeted about this very briefly and seemed like she still didn't have courage to speak out the entire truth.

She said that while working on the show she was "humiliated and gaslit, targeted and ignored."
She also went on to say "I wish we still had Patriot Act. I also wish they truly practiced the progressive ethos they cultivated on screen. Then they would really deserve all your love,"
It seems like Hasan Minhaj and the cast of The Patriot Act were hypocrites according to her and basically what she means is that they say something on screen but do the totally different thing off screen.
Hasan has definitely milked his brownie points from being a brown "Indian" and a "Muslim" boy but he definitely does not represent any Indian values in how he lives and how he goes about his life.
I know that his opinions are mostly fraud and hypocritical but I am even till today really surprised no one even knows this story till date!
