Should Britain really be credited for bringing trains to India?

I am not racist against British people. Some of my favorite bands are English like Porcupine Tree, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath but you absolutely cannot deny all the harm they have done to the Indian subcontinent including creating an almost never ending conflict between the Hindus and the Muslims of the region.

Do you really agree with the absolute neglect of what's not being taught in the history books (about the colonial past of Britain) of school children in the UK? That to me is really being racist.

Also, I don't care about giving myself away. Why should I worry about speaking my mind on decentralized platforms like read.cash? If it was Facebook or Twitter, sure, maybe I would be banned or censored.

Muslims (arabs) invaded India and caused massive damage, control and perhaps one of the worlds top 3 genocide over a period of centuries. That conflict will remain, especially as muslims grow in the north. The qur'an tells them to take over the world. First by deception and then by force. Once they have enough influence they then move to make non muslims submit and/or pay a tax. Turning to Britain. It gave India many benefits - classic buildings, western technology, railways, communications, and modernity, industry, increased welfare and education, global awareness, independence, modern army, police, judicial system. Not just the bad things (resource extraction, Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, colonial rule). In many cases like this one, history is not one sided. The 20th century lifted more people out of poverty and oppression than any other. Let's build on that.

Absolutely agree that Arabs and Mughals also did equal if not more damage to India. All the things that you say that the British gave India, India already had like industry, welfare, education, independence, army, police, judicial system. Just because the British did it in a different way doesn't mean they're the only ones that had it. In fact I would say that the Indian system was far more sustainable and good for the planet and India also didn't need the pollution filled industries that Britain brought with them.

The very fact that the British people thought that they need to teach Indians some culture is racist to the core because that fundamentally means they think their culture is superior to the Indian culture.

Also about education, India had a full fledged university far before the West even existed which is proven by the excavations of the Nalanda university. Indians also invented the number 0 which is foundation for all things fundamental to any modern computation so I don't know how you can even say that the British gave India "education".
