Surprise Surprise! Mumbai have won the trophy! If you have seen my prediction in the last post you would have seen the same result as well. It was going to be a little close but Mumbai were never going to lose that final. Mumbai were truly a cut above the rest!

If you look at all the parameters that were analyzed, Mumbai were truly a cut above the rest! They hit sixes almost 20% more than the next best team Rajasthan Royals. Their scoring date at the death was also at a similar margin higher than Chennai Super Kings. Their powerplay numbers were also significantly more than the rest of the teams. They also used as few players as possible which would have been better had captain Rohit Sharma not been injured and they were forced a replacement.
I will make a separate post on the greatest IPL captain ever, Rohit Sharma going over a lot of the statistics in detail but until then, enjoy the Mumbai win. And until next time (probably just a few months out), the coverage of the Indian Premier League has come to an end!
