I routinely like to share positive stories about what's happening in India because firstly, the western world always wants to focus on still showing India as a third world country when in fact it is proving time and time again that it's economy is actually growing at an amazing rate and it is lifting millions of people out of poverty every day. Secondly, there is too much in fighting going on in India and I really believe that showing the positive side of the story helps reduce the fighting a lot and bring stability to that region.
So today's story if that of an IIT grad who turned to an IFS officer who helped save Sikkim's forests and dying springs!
