It's been a long wait for sports in the world to happen in general and also for cricket to begin and it is finally here! After much going back and forth, the venue has been shifted to Abu Dhabi from India.

Today starts with the major marquee clash between 2 titans, Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings!
The major talking points about today's game:
Missing Suresh Raina for this IPL for Chennai!
CSK don't have a left hander in their top 6 and Raina will be missed from that aspect. Also his fielding will be missed a lot.
Will Boult be picked for Mumbai?
It would be very interesting to see who would be the primary fast bowler for Mumbai Indians.
CSK being the mighty IPL giant that it is, have been trumped by Mumbai Indians most of the time and it almost seems like MI have found a way to crack the CSK code somehow. I feel like that is mostly because of the genius of Rohit Sharma's captaincy and his brain at work. With that consideration, I would think that Mumbai Indians would be the current favorites to start the tournament out.
And as the legendary Ravi Shastri were to put it, "I hope this would be a cracker of an IPL!"
CSK won the inaugural match while MI are still winless in UAE. They played 6 match and lost all. Promising performance from Sam Curran.
