Indian lady grew 90% of her own veggies during lockdown

Muthu Nagappan, a home maker from Tiruchi, India grows 25 varieties of vegetables on her 500 square feet terrace. She apparently also makes her own home made fertilizers using her kitchen waste. If you are interested in making home made fertilizers, I will be writing another article on that subject which might help everyone do the same.

“Our garden gives us 90 per cent of vegetables for the entire family. We rarely, if ever, step out to purchase vegetables. It also has a calming effect on all of us” Muthu tells The Better India. 

Her garden also apparently attracts a lot of birds and butterflies!
