Airbnb did an IPO filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on November 17 2020 and they have stated some very interesting and very promising things in their future technologies section and they have said that their future success will depend on their ability to adapt new technologies like tokenization, cryptocurrencies and new authentication technologies. Airbnb is looking at blockchain technology and crypto currencies to try and improve its service. They also say that they may or may not be successful with it but they would definitely pour resources into it.
They do have some idea about the crypto market as they acquired the engineering team from a crypto company ChangeTip in 2016.
If more and more big players enter this space, it will only help the crypto mass adoption in general for the existing users.
