PanXCafé: Report April - May 2023.

Greetings to all the people who have supported this humble personal project that is my bakery. Despite all the difficulties, I am grateful to each and every one of the people who have allowed this project to take place. Not only me as an individual, but also my family, we have been able to maintain and better cope with life in Venezuela thanks to the support received to work every day for this dream.

We are excited to continue fighting for this dream and make it real and profitable. I love the bakery and I am happy to work in it. Despite the current circumstances in my country, I am optimistic about moving this business forward. For this initial period we have had slow sales, low for what I initially estimated. The general panorama of the country has not helped us to start as I had planned. Here is a table with the initial expenses for the month of April (in which I was repairing the car and doing what was necessary to avoid having problems with it again) and the balance sheet for the month of May. The numbers for the month of May actually contain part of the month of April but full operation began in the month of May.

In this balance sheet you can see the expenses for car repairs, and the purchase of materials for the bakery, which was executed in the month of April. The momentum of the inventory purchased in the month of April is still maintained, which has allowed us to save during the month of May and prepare for this month of June.

June without gasoline.

unfortunately this month of June the entire country has had problems with the fuel supply. Also with the gas to make the breads, a certain shortage has started. At first I have reserves of both resources but I had to change the plan that I had been executing to be able to cope with this new situation. The plan consists of reducing the scope of our sales in order to maximize gas and gasoline reserves, while normality is restored. The oil minister has informed that the situation could last until the beginning of July.
