Hello everyone ,I would like to keep my blog short and simple so you guys don't get bored and get this information as soon as possible.so how can we kill or how can we change our bad habits through NAC?
what is NAC?
NAC stands for neuro associative conditioning. if you want to change your behavior or if you want to kill your bad habits NAC will work for you.
we must link unbearable and immediate sensations of pleasure to a new one and link massive pain to the old one(behavior or habit).
There are 6 steps to master it.
1) Decide what you really want and what's preventing you from having it.
The first step to creating any change is deciding what you do want so that you have something to move toward.
2) Get leverage enough .
Associate massive pain to not changing now and massive pleasure to the experience of changing new.
(The only way we're going to make change now is if we create a sense of urgency that's so intense that we're compelled to follow through.)
3)Interrupt the limiting pattern
once you have got enough leverage now its time to interrupt the pattern that you have been following for so long.
To break the pattern
for eg. you want to loose weight and if you overeat on regular basis, the next time you see yourself overeating in the restaurant jump on the table and dance like a maniac with this you'll link to much pain to your overeating habit.(I just gave an example you can create your own pattern).
4 )create a new, Empowering alternatives
Replace your old pattern with a empowering one. The failure by most of the people to find an alternative way of getting out of pain and into the feeling of pleasure is the major reason most people's attempt at change are only temporary.(The adoption of a replacement behavior appears to play a major role)
5)condition the new pattern until its consistent.
Conditioning is the way to make sure that a change you create is consistent and long lasting.
The simplest way is to rehearse it again and again until a neurological way is created. Imagine yourself enjoying new behavior or new habit and enjoy the feeling out of it.
6)Test it
Test it and see if it works. Think about the situation that used to worry you and see that you no longer worry in this situation. and if it does again follow the steps which you feel you have not strengthened them enough.
