There is a lot of value to this. Shared on another social media from a friend of mine who got out two nights into the bombing ______________________________ To all my foreign&russian friends and colleagues, who keep asking how are my family and friends. They are NOT OK, they are NOT Fine, they are NOT Safe. They are terrified, devastated, heartbroken. They are under constant fire of russian tanks, armored vehicles, ballistic missiles, array of aircraft capable of firing air-to-ground missiles & dropping cluster and fragmentation bombs. Our homes, kindergartens, children’s playgrounds, hospitals, streets – everything that we love is brutally being destroyed NOW. This is not a CONFLICT, this not an ordinary WAR!!! This is a GENOCIDE and MASS MURDER of peaceful Ukrainian nation. But we are not the only one – Putin is consciously committing GENOCIDE of it’s own russian nation. Don't expect us to be tolerant and forgive deaths of our Kids, tears of our Mothers. We just cannot forgive that our Brothers and Husbands are at the frontline of WAR. You will be isolated as a nation, the whole world will be pointing fingers at you and associate with Fascist regime of your mentally sick leader. We are not asking you to help us, this is our land and we were never so powerful as now - act for your own dignity and future of your Kids. We see a lot of you, our friends, who are really acting and risking freedom to speak-up. You need to continue – we did it in 2004, in 2013-2014 and are forced to do it NOW. We are not risking to be put to jail, we are risking our lives. Me and my kids are not in Ukraine and we are safe, but I cannot work, cannot sleep, cannot eat – i am in constant fear for my Mom, my brother and my husband’s relatives, our friends. My mind and my heart is entirely with them and with my brave and proud nation. Please stay strong!!! The TRUTH is on our side!!! We will WIN!!! ______________________________________________ This is the Ukrainian reality. If you have any friends or family in Russia share and let them know the truth.

WHY is Putin doing this? What possible benefit to Russia does this war have? All he has done is increase the value of American natural gas imports in the eyes of the Europeans.
It's his sick ambitions. He dreams to create new russian empire.
Its not like he needs more land and resources is it. He is playing a sick game to undo NATO and reestablish the USSR in his own image.
And using people as the expendable playing pieces in his game. This is beyond repulsive.
