My home town (Lincoln) holds one of the largest Christmas Markets in Europe even though it is based on German ones and it used to be a highlight of our year to pop over for the weekend to enjoy it, soak in the atmosphere and have a mulled wine ahd mince pie. Thanks to Covid it was cancelled last year and thanks to Covid we can't go this year.

yes. same here in czech. long awaited christmas markets are cancelled. although i dont buy there because of so high price. its just i love doing window shopping and enjoying the decorations and the music.
