Oh yeah, I remember attempting that once. However, my wife, being a Filipina, insisted that it’s “normal” for kids to sleep with their parents. Lucky me! ☹️
I had an ex who did that to some extent - not every time though - with her younger children when they were about five - particularly the little girl (@Kathrynmcgrath's little sister), who is not so little any more
Was this ex a Filipina, or Asian? I'm wondering if this is a cultural thing, and the idea of kids having their own bedroom isn't universal.
