So today is the day. Despite my allegience to Lewis Max should be crowned Champion for his consistency and tenacity - although I do worry about his mentality at times. The reason why I think so is simply earlier in the season - can't remember which race - Max was sure of 25 points when his tyre exploded. That would have put him too far ahead before today's race, even if Lewis hadn't gone off in a straight line on the restart. Max's tyre wasn't his fault, Lewis is only to blame for "choosing the wrong mode" on the restart. So that is my view being as neutral as possible. However in such a cauldron emotion is a big part and therefore I will still be cheering for Lewis, while not being disappointed if Max brings it home.

Worry about his mentality...you have been exposed to way too much British Media I guess. If he truly had a mentality problem the guys on the grid would not like him, and they do...which is not as much the case for Sir Lewis but maybe that is insight then again influenced by too much pro Max Media. Let´s have a clean fight and may the best knight take home the championship today, it has been an amazing season.
Funnily enough i havent as I dont live there and only watch the races.
My Bad I thought you lived in the UK
No matter how deserving an opponent is, for me he is still an opponent. In 2007, I celebrated wildly when Man U nicked a 1-0 win at Anfield despite Liverpool being the far better and dominant team that day. If Max wins today I definitely won't be happy, no matter how deserving he is. Of course I'll still go around and live my normal life but I want Lewis winning that 8th title ASAP. No one knows tomorrow.
