Unos de los casos más sonados es Wendy's International, decidió retirarse del difícil mercado venezolano, Para las franquicias no es fácil mantenerse en el país con una crisis económica y la pandemia, solo estaban operando tres. La plantilla laboral también estaba reducida al mínimo, con unos 60 trabajadores aproximadamente.
