Angeline migrated to United States, and has been living there for several years. She applied for the Petition for the Alien Relative to bring her children and husband to the country. It's been her dream to be reunited with her family, and be with them in the US.
With her goal to buy a house where she will live with her family, Angeline worked very hard to save money. She finally bought a house in California just in time when the petition for her family was approved.
She prepared everything for her new house, and completed all the essential appliances. The day came for the flight of her family from the Philippines, she waited patiently in the airport with "Welcome" banners she's holding with her two friends.
It's been a heartfelt reunion when her family arrived. Those tears of joy are flowing in their faces as they hugged each other. As they reached their new house, Angeline's other friends and relatives, mostly are Filipinos, has prepared a surprise and welcome party.
Their first two weeks in their new home has been a busy one. Preparing their things, as well as buying their needs. Adjustment isn't easy for Angeline's family, but it is going well. As everything is turning to normal, there's a bad news from the government as shown in the news.
"The land is burning" due to the bushfire spreading in a large portion which is is just few kilometers away from Angeline's new home. Everyone are forced to evacuate. Left with no choice, Angeline and her family has to comply. The supposed new life was met by this disaster. Fortunately for them, their house was spared from the bushfire when extinguished.
