How many deserts Pakistan have?
Pakistan have five major deserts which were historic forests. I am sharing the list of deserts and their place of their existence . Do not skip the article if you want to know the interesting information about all these deserts.
So these five deserts are mentioned below.
Thar desert located in Sindh, Pakistan.(largest desert among all)
Kharan desert which is in Balochistan.
Katpana desert in Skardu in Gilgit Baltistan
Thal desert in Bhakkar ( province Punjab)
and Cholistan in Bahawalpur which is also in province Punjab.

The Thar Desert covers an area of 175,000 Km square.
It is the largest desert of Pakistan and the only subtropical desert of Asia.
It is the 7th largest desert on this Earth and the third largest in Asia.
Some of its part is also spread into India.
The Thar Desert is also known as a 'Friendly Desert' because of its easy accessibility to the area and its people and pleasant climate.

Life Style In Thar Desert
It is hard to live in any desert
Thar Desert is the most densely populated desert in this world, with 83 people per square kilo meter.
This population lives in the form small villages, these villages are far apart from each other.
The people are moving when their sparse water supply dries up(most hard thing for them).
How the people of Thar desert Manage their water needs?
Vegetation, birds, and insects can all mean a nearby water source.
Fruits, vegetables, and roots all contain water , mashing them with a rock will release liquid. Canyons and mountain bases could be home to a water source.
Kharan desert(Sindh)
The (Kharan Desert) is a sandy and mountainous desert which is situated in Balochistan province in south-western area of Pakistan.
Beautiful desert of Balochistan .
It covers an area of about 48,051 sq. km.

Katpana desert in Skardu(Gilgit Pakistan)
The Cold Desert, also known as the Katpana Desert,
located near Skardu, northern Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan.
The granules of sand in Katpna desert are white,which has marked this desert as a wonder on earth.
People who see this desert once wish to see it again and again because of its beauty.
Thal desert in Bhakkar
The Thal desert is situated in Punjab.
. Vast area of this desert is located between the Jhelum and Sindh rivers.
Thal Desert has occupies the area of 20000 km sqaure.
It is 3rd largest desert in Pakistan.
The only natural vegetation in the desert are a few species of drought resistance grass, shrubs and trees.
