People are crazy these days. I took hundreds of cryptocurrency, airdrop messages today and most of them obviously scam!

But why still are people giving attention to them? Can we say it's just curiosity? Or they are poor and they try to make more money those things? What about people who aren't poor?
Let me introduce the Fear of Missing Out, the feeling or thought that other people having more joy, having a nice time, or experiencing things that better than you have.

So think about it, you didn't join those events but still people working on it, sending links, asking for referrals, helping each other to get the rewards. You probably think like "what's going on here?" At this point, people start to a bit anxious because they are thinking that they missing an event.
It also shaped the mottos of offers, airdrops. "Don't miss the chance!", "One-time offer!"

Social media may be one of the biggest reasons for it. We are bombarding with tweets about coins, even the coins like we didn't even hear, people always earning big money (no one share lost), every coin going to the moon! On telegram groups, I received tons of airdrop messages saying 50$ for joining, 10$ for referrals! Are you serious? Who can give 50$ just for following and retweeting some tweets? It's obviously a scam!

But people still investing their money and their time for these things. Starting to invest coins just because they saw lots of tweets about it. This fallacy can lead someone to loss on crypto.

the ones who bombarded those messages, I can recommend you to be calm and don't get excited when you see something that suspicious. Before taking an action be sure about it. Check if you feel that fear of missing out, make some search about the company who giving those offers. Calculate possible rewards and losses.
