Proverbs 3:7 (NIV) Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.
Is telling us that to be wise in our eyes is liking us to be evil and you say, how it is that evil why is it strong will consider the garden. Adan and Eve in the garden the Lord says do not eat from the tree of knowledge because that is taking your wisdom into your own hands making in yourselves the center the reference for wisdom and God saying don't do that instead fear me, reverence me, be and all at me and my wisdom. And when you do that making God the center will shunning the evil that tries to save in and you can all things base on your own wisdom. You know enough when the reality is we don't.
