Finally i can able to write a review about my top 5 medical movies i have watched since the first month of community quarantine. Though I do not speak the Korean language, I was willing to pause and read the subtitles to understand every dialogue because every thing had something new and different in it.
The Good Doctor was the first medical drama i have watched. This movie was a remake of "The Good Doctor " in American medical movie. The story is well played by the team, and justifies in bringing out every 'unseen, unspoken' emotions into a screenplay. Unexpected story lines, suspense and many things that keeps one engaged can be anticipated. The Good Doctor is a beautiful story that describes the journey of a person with autistic disorder, who successfully completes his medical studies but suffers to seek acceptance from his peers who time-and-again doubt his incredible abilities. It has an elaborate episode structure to satisfy a its viewers. I actually watched this movie twice. Joo won ( the actor ) nailed this drama and leads me to watch another of his medical movie " yong pal".
This movie made me cry and i cant easily moved on this one. Because of this i had sleepless nights! ( well played). Very educational and it can motivate viewers.
here are the trailers:
SYNOPSIS :
An autistic savant Park Si- on (Joo Won) was sent to a specialized care center, from there he was discovered to have genius memory level and keen spatial skills. He had a tragic family past. Gladly, a doctor veteran raised him well. He eventually enters as resident doctor in pediatric surgery for six months to prove himself capable. Unfortunately, because of his condition, he faced difficulty on how to deal with his patients and other doctors who never saw his ability rather than they view him as childlike and incapable doctor.
I'll go get this movie. I used to be a fan of Korean movies before till their story lines began to look the same.
