How do the dynamic Bitcoin addresses work?

So, I have run into this situation, and I believe many of you guys would have as well, that if I go to say Coinbase and go to my BTC wallet and click Receive, I get a BTC address where people can send BTC to my address. I have noticed that after a day or so, when I go back to my Coinbase again and click Receive, this address changes.

My question is, after the address has changed, if someone sends me BTC to my old address, will I still get it? Why does this address change dynamically? Is there a way to keep this constant?

1) Yes you will still get the coins. 2) It usually changes for privacy reasons. Though it is at the exchange's discretion why it changes or not. 3) No way to keep this constant on Coinbase.

I don't know how it is with coinbase, but if you have a seed phrase to your wallet you have access to all addresses that belong to it. You can import the seed phrase into the Bitcoin.com wallet and then you have access to everything. I have described it here https://read.cash/@Telesfor/how-to-integrate-readcash-wallet-into-bitcoincom-wallet-65b45793 for Bitcoin Cash, but it works the same for BTC.
