Don't you think that there are so many responsibilities to juggle in life? Some of us are multi-tasking to the max and didn't have time for real life, like going for a slow walk, doing exercise and a hobby you like, or just catching up with families and friends. And yet, our responsibilities are real too, like working to get income, taking care of loved ones and home, children and pets. The list goes on. And here we were, catching up with all of our relatives we had not been able to due to busyness in life. And we gathered here for wake service. My father said that's the irony of life - despite busyness, everyone made time to come for funeral and then catching up with one another. The not good way of saying is - we are all so busy with life that only when someone passed away, we got to make time to gather and meet up. Something for me to ponder.. P/S: I loved the smell of flowers surrounding us at the wake service. A lovely sight and fragrance everywhere. I know my Aunt is at the greatest place now. Home=Heaven.
