Had yummy 'zha jiang mian' the other night with family. The word 'zha jiang mian' is in Chinese language, meaning... Zha=fried Jiang=sauce Mian=noodle The most important part of this dish is the 'zha jiang' sauce made from fermented soybean paste being fried/stir fry with minced pork (or beef). Usually, the noodles comes with generous amount of shredded carrots and cucumbers, when the whole thing mixed together, it is so appetizing, every mouthful is satisfying. Both my husband and son love it too. I ate it together with my carrot milk juice. Delicious! Those who love noodles and strong taste will like 'zha jiang mian'.
