So sad when you were full of zeal wanted to transform the leftover bread into bread pudding then my oven gave way and not working now. :( So now trying to steam. Hopefully, it turns out well or else I plan to avoid wastage will be in vain. Please work well, steamed bread pudding.

Our lunch few hours before this.. Packed the dishes and boiled rice at home. Sometimes, I just gotto admit, I can't be superwoman do cooking, cleaning, laundry, baking, parenting, and noise-ing here all at the same time. So I decided not to cook today since I wanted to do bread pudding. But I salute all superwomen here. π

Just now I mentioned my oven was faulty out of sudden, so I steamed my bread pudding instead. Nah..too mushy and watery for me. So I transferred them to smaller baking mould, and use toaster oven. At least, now it looks like bread pudding. ππOkay, I am no longer sad. #Food

One pot dish for tonight. Fish curryπ₯π because I want to use up all the fish in the feeezer. Very simple to make. Using pre-made fish curry paste, add in coconut milk, curry leaves, fish (I use some salmon, some sardine, some 'ikan merah') and ladies fingers. Boil for 20-30 minutes, done! Yummy! Best eat with rice.

Another pineapple tarts, this time bought my hubby. When I told him we needed to cut down sugar, and then more pineapple tarts, my favourite. Must be difficult to be husband sometimes, not buying then wife no chance to be happy but blood sugar better, if buy then wife happy but blood sugar spikes. Lol... No worries, I will control my eating. Just saying for fun.

Dinner tonight as pre-Chinese-eve-reunion (haha) because the roast duck company doesn't work tomorrow (supposedly the Chinese eve reunion dinner). This duck is roasted to perfection, with a hint of herbs as well, but still could taste the roasty-ness (I don't know how to describe). One word - yummylicious. The Rays Of Sun If you were ever being sick on a sick bed for months, you would really appreciate the rays of sun. You would let all the rays absorbed into every cells and sinews within. If can, no matter how warm it was, you would want to get near the sun. I thought back on the days when my son was ill at Intensive Unit Care. 4 months felt like 4 thousand years. Not a single day went by without us praying for him to survive the congenital disease CDH. The rays of sun gaveβ¦

Hourly tube-feeding him now because he can only tolerate 50ml-70ml per feed. And his body can't seem to tolerate milk or blended food, but I shall try again later. Feels sad when he didn't have any food yet. Basically, he feels tired due to the pain. Champion son, you will get through this just like how you did it the past so many times. Another favourite day. I always give thanks for new day, new grace. Yesterday, I was able to sneak in some milk tube-feeding while little one was asleep π (in photo). He could tolerate without gagging and retching. We know he is heading to recovery and soon will be back to normal. From our experience, usually it will take 5-7days. We pray each time, the pain be shorten. Thank you for the support and tips given yesterday. I woke up and 'wow-ed' at generosity given. Thank youβ¦

I used to think why do parents bought for their children superheroes' costumes as I couldn't think of any relevant use-case. Since January, the boys been bugging me. For their YouTube Channel. Not sure what 'virus' got into, I really bought them. π I was still in disbelief when the parcel arrived. Now, the youngest one said he might want to try to wear and walk in malls. And I can video him. What? They still do not know I don't like to be in the limelight. Haha.

Today, he starts with Maze Maze and Maze. When he first started it, he was slow. Now, he is so fast at it! Although, doctor did say he will be slower than his peers of same age, slow and steady wins the race. Homeschooling him is the best decision. The other day, I posted we had a surprise after the hospital appointment. We went to a mall for lunch and bumped into someone. πYes, we met Uncle Roger, if you know him. :) He is Nigel Ng, a stand-up comedian from Malaysia, based in UK. The boys were so happy to meet him. :) Do you know him?

Today is our last day of celebrating Chinese New Year, Day 15 Chap Goh Meh, we also call it Chinese Valentine's Day. Husband decided to bring us out for dinner at special place. Totally love the atmosphere and free band to entertain us. β€οΈ

Ham sandwich again because we bought few packs at mark-down price due to near expiry. Still very fresh ham though. π So, today Sunday, instead of the usual hardboiled eggs, husband got to eat ham cheese sandwich with lettuce. #Food
