But the ship struck a sandbar and ran aground. The bow stuck fast and would not move, and the stern was broken to pieces by the pounding of the surf. Acts 27:41, NIV God promised the apostle Paul that the ship’s crew would survive, but the ship would be lost. Sometimes our boat goes down. The wooden broken pieces help us to float to safety. We think we have to have the boat, but God's plan is to make our brokenness become our breakthrough. Losing someone or something precious to us is hard. What's left is all we have to survive. It may be just enough to take us to where God wants to bring us. In the stormy waves, a broken piece is all we have to grab on. With the hope to make it to our destiny even when the boat has broken apart...

Remembering the first Summer days during the first days of Autumn. When a simple walk becomes a fairy tale journey. When our senses can't capture the whole reality - fragrances, colors, sounds.. The caress of the sun rays upon your skin. The green sea bathing your eyes. The wind whispering between the trees. #photography #art #NFT Also available as NFT: https://www.voice.com/creation/100000000010148

XOOX #001 While studying music composition in the university, an old professor showed me a recursive rhythmical pattern. With it it's possible to create endless melodies and rhythms. I wrote a visual algorithm, which allowed me to translate this pattern into an image. Each pattern can be generated only once and therefore is unique. It's also available as NFT: https://www.voice.com/creation/100000000007334

Photo edit: Afternoon Scene Powerful like the mountain, strong like the rusty steel. Healthy and fit like the fresh, green grass. [original content]

Photo edit: Forest Bouquet Yesterday I saw this natural bouquet near the forest. The colors were so vibrant, almost hypnotizing. In my edit I tried to transfer the beauty of the moment into a digital image. [original content]

Yesterday our cat Bella gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens. She was following my mom the last couple of days everywhere, as if she wanted to be close to somebody to assist her when the time was there. The baby's look healthy and strong. The mother was really tired, but now she is getting a lot of rest and looks relaxed and happy. [original content]

Earthly dreams, earthly rubbish. Today when walking around I was looking at some rubbish along the way and thinking. All these things thrown away were somebody's dream. They wanted them so much, excited about the benefits from owning those items. Then their dream came true, they bought or received the coveted goods. And now... it's laying useless on the rubbish. And some day, our own earthly path will come to an end. Regardless of what we own, we can't stay on earth forever. Are we aware of it, when acquiring this stuff? The thought came into my mind: "Earthly dreams, earthly rubbish." And then another line: "Heavenly dreams, heavenly treasures." What would be "heavenly dreams"? Maybe not really a dream. Rather a preparation and expectancy for the eternal life in heaven. Learning how to let go of our earthly treasures, no matter how many or how little they are. Cultivating awareness that our ownership of things is limited in time, it's more of a stewardship. Learning to detach from what we possess. To not be possessed by our possessions. And when the moment comes, to have a light heart with no regret for what we are leaving behind here on earth. Have a wonderful weekend. [original content]

Yesterday we saw a huge watermelon in Lidl, maybe close to 20 kilo. I thought, "why not", and put it in the cart. At the cash register they weigh all fruits and vegetables. When they put it on the scale, the system crashed. After restart, they tried again, the system crashed again. The cashier called the manager and asked what to do. The manager said that the limit for the weighing scale was 10 kilo, and that they would mark this maximum weight (10 kilo) for my watermelon. Today we tried this giant of a fruit, it was sweet and refreshing. Thank you Lidl. [original content]

From My Mom's Garden My mom likes to work in the garden. Every day she picks strawberries and gives each one of us a bowl of fresh fruit. We enjoy the rich flavor and feel so much love put in each small strawberry. [original content]

This is my entry for the new round of FriendlyMoose's photo contents. The topic this time is "NATURE". "Nothing happened, just snowed" Changing of the seasons is one of the most fascinating aspects of nature. Same place looks totally different during different seasons. This picture (obviously edited) was taken last winter. It's incomparable to how our favorite forest looks right now. Unimaginable that after several months there will be snow again and all green, flowers, butterflies will have a deep winter sleep. In these hot days it's fine that there are so many water amenities around the city like fountains and ponds. They create an atmosphere of freshness and coolness. [original content]

Bella on a hot summer day - immovable. Nothing can make her move from her spot in the heat, not even food, other cats or invitation to play. In her own world... [original content]

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend. A real summer here with temperatures constantly above 30C. The park is still one of the favorite destinations to hang out and cool down. [original content]

Photo edit: Walk in the Park Today is really hot here, close to 40 °C. One of the places where people can find some freshness is the park. Situated along the river, with its massive trees, it welcomes anyone looking for a shadowy refuge from the burning sun. [original content]

Photo edit: Red Metallic While walking to the park, we were impressed by this magnetic metallic car's color. I tried to make it stand out even more in the edit. [original content]

This week's photography contest of @FriendlyMoose is themed "SHADOWS" Here's my entry: December Sun Rays The photo was taken early in the morning, a few days before Christmas, in the Spanish town of Lepe. This is the central bus station. Its roof is huge and is made in the shape of ocean waves (the Atlantic Ocean is very near). The first sun rays just came "through the roof" drawing the contours of it on the graffiti wall with the lady waiting for her bus. A long journey to visit family for Christmas. This is our favorite tree, now its fruits are ready to harvest. Everybody loves cherries, there are plenty on the market. As a kid I was living on a tree in the cherry season :) breakfast, dinner or lunch, you could find me there. What's your favorite fruit? [original content]

Photo edit: Morning Flowers These pictures were taken early in the morning, against the light, capturing more color nuances and transparency. Can you see the snail? (original content)

Photo edit: Walk in Light Took this picture while going downtown. Approaching the longest day of the year, the beginning of Summer. The environment is so green, it inevitably transfers into the pictures. This was the inspiration for the edit below, to add some color in harmony with the green. (original content)

Photo edits: In Our Garden Google style clothespins hanging while the bee is collecting sweet honey from the flowers. The cherries are taking their time staying green, and Milka the cat is inspecting the tools for the next project. (original content)

This is my entry for the weekly photo contest of @FriendlyMoos, the topic is SAND. "Two traces" There were traces of two vehicles on the morning sand. Wondering if these were the civil guards or just two people having fun.. Photo was taken on La Antilla Beach (Spain). You can participate by following this link: https://noise.cash/post/1m5n65qq

This is a very small butterfly. When flying it looks just sky blue. It was a surprise to see on the photo the different colors and patterns which are invisible when she's flying.

Photo edit: People in the Park It's nice to see how people enjoy being amidst a sea of green. They bike, talk, walk, play... Their faces absorb the sunshine and radiate back peace and joy. #photography

Here is my entry for the new round of FriendlyMoose's photography contest. The topic is: CLOUDS This might be one of the most photographed objects overall. it's so difficult to choose. "Cloud Burst" I chose this picture because the clouds are heading the same direction in unison with the sun rays. 4 elements working together - skyline, sky gradient, clouds and sun rays. Photo edit: The Lake Bikal (not the real one) This is a pond called Baikal, located in the park. There used to be a nice restaurant near it. They had live music outside, the band played all the easy listening hits of the 70's. The musicians were my friends and I hung out there every day. #nature #photography
