After the rain in the park, wanted to take a picture of the raindrops on the leaves. This fly just didn't move, no matter how close i came to it. Eventually it did flew away and got the picture i had in mind.

This is my entry for the new round of the weekly photo contest held by @FriendlyMoose. The topic is PATTERNS. I chose this image because each leave of the plant has and interesting pattern itself. Moderating a Channel (First Feedback) Here's a brief first impression on the introduction of Channels from a moderator point of view. It's been almost a week since the introduction of Channels. This feedback is based on my experience of moderating the channels Photography and Food. 1. Adding moderators After adding a user as a moderator we found out that they are unable to perform any actions of moderating. Probably a bug, but they can't do anything. This seems the most urgent issue to be resolved.  2. Huge interest Every day there are hundreds of new posts submitted, and many new users as well. 3. Quality Although the majority of posts are of good quality, there  are many posts of extreme low quality. Who wants to see a very blurred image of half a shoe in the corner of an image? Or just blurred pixelated undefined color (supposed to be a sky). Or a tail of a cat or dog, which might or might not be sleeping... Many of these images are being rejected. Easy to do, but still takes a lot of time. 4. Plagiarism More difficult is to deal with plagiarism and outright deceit. A stolen picture from internet, with a personal story. Investigating, doubt, wanting to believe the best. It's not easy. Many images are submitted even with a watermark of the rightful owner, or from the stock photography website. Some even "borrow" pictures from fellow noisers from this very site. 5. Relevance There are submissions without any relevance to the channel. One word, "Hi", and that's it. Or an emoji.. Or some quote, or irrelevant question or a statement. No matter how fast you can do it, it all needs to be processed and executed. 6. SPAM Attempts to submit multiple posts a day, in a short period of time. Some even submit multiple times the same post. 7. It would be great if the moderator could set a limit for the number of posts per day a user can submit in a channel. Knowing that you can only post once a day, might increase the overall quality of the channel and the whole site. 8. Ban and Unban Once a user is banned, you can't unblock him again. Sometimes they sincerely admit their mistake and apologize. Nothing wrong with a second chance. But when attempting to give back their access, an error message is being displayed. A bug. 9. DM A direct messaging system would be very helpful in the process of moderation, which at the moment is not available.  10. Flags Maybe users can flag content to bring suspicious activity to the attention of moderators, in case something has slept through.  11. Time consuming Moderating a channel can be pretty much a day job. Every refresh shows a new post waiting to be moderated. It takes time and effort to keep a channel clean and neat. 12. Nice to haves - custom channel header - pinned posts - sub channels / sub categories (submenu on the side) - relevant links list (submenu on the side) - moderators rewards - advanced post ranking based on quality (likes, comments) and freshness(time since the posts has been published) These are the first impressions. Channels can contribute in improving the structure and content discoverability of the site. Reddit is a good example. It's great to see the active and innovative approach of the Noise Team in real time while building the platform. Two steps forward, one step back. Many small steps. Keep the ones in the right direction, learn from the others. Passion and patience. Would love to hear the experience of other channel moderators and users. #NoiseCash

The Green Sunny Lane. Good afternoon. May is probably the greenest month here. It's everywhere, abundant and fresh. Took this picture when going to do some groceries. A huge truck Serbia with roof pans was stuck to the wrong address, in front of Lidl. The driver asked me where was the building store. It was very close, but since the truck was way too long, it was difficult, if not impossible to turn around. It's good to start fresh each day, like a morning in May. #photography #spring #nature

Three Worlds When I took this picture, I immediately thought of a drawing called "Three Worlds" of the Dutch graphic artist Maurits Escher. In his drawing he refers to the three visible dimensions - the floating leaves on the water surface, the world above the surface as a reflection of the trees, and the world under the surface represented by the fish. After putting the two pictures next to each other, I was surprised to see how similar they were. Obviously, my picture was missing the fish, which was somewhat compensated by the shadows of the leaves projected on the bottom of the pool, and maybe the reflection of the sun, making a fourth world visible, the one of the universe. The pictures made me think how a definite and irreversible event can manifest itself again in an unexpected way. The leaves have fallen off from those trees and would never ever come back up hanging on the branches. But this event is observable in the picture where both, trees and leaves come perfectly together once again. A warm sunny day. Radiating sun rays through the trees, covering the grass with soft light. Just read in Proverbs 10:12: "Love covers all wrongs. " What does it mean? Maybe looking through someone's imperfections and tying to see their true self. To understand where they come from. To put ourselves in their shoes. A small feature request: Sometimes when I receive a ❤️ I would like to check directly the profile of that user. It's not possible, unless you: 1) select the user name in the notifications 2) copy it 3) go to My posts 4) select your own user name 5) paste the user name of the ❤️ sender 6) click enter It would be so much easier if the user name in the notification would be made clickable linked directly to their profile. They are 6 weeks old and yesterday one of them found a new home. A lady called and said that their cat ran away and her daughter was very sad, waiting every day for it to return. It was exactly the same like one of our cats, the orange with white. They were willing to drive more than 40 km in order to come and adopt it. We agreed. They were so happy to see it, we are sure they will take good care of him. They even bought him a cat house. #cats #photography #originalcontent

Photo edit: Fishing. It's so much more than what we see on the surface. When I used to go fishing with my father, he would start preparing the day before. My task was usually to take care of the bait. Catch bees, worms, gather corn, mix dough. Sometimes we also used artificial bait - plastic fly or a small metal fish. Since there are many plants along the river where the hook can get stuck and broken, my father prepared plenty of extra hooks. All the equipment was double and triple checked. Food and water for a whole day, suitable clothes and shoes, folding chairs, sun protection, rain protection, new batteries for the radio. We would wake up really early on the fishing day, around 5 AM, and go while it's still dark. There are so many stories created during fishing, both funny and amazing, and maybe these stories made it so exciting, anticipating what it will be like this time. #fishing #photography #photoedit #originalcontent

Yesterday we visited a small village where we have a small property. It was gifted to us by my grandparent. In the 70's or 80's my father built there a small cabin with the help of a good friend. We haven't visited the place for a couple of years. There were many bushes and trees. The cabin was still standing. The environment is very quiet and green with a lot of space. #Photography
