Manchester city yesterday thrashed Crystal Palace 4 - 0 at the Etihad stadium as an early gift to celebrate Guardiola's 50th birthday today.
Guardiola has had an amazing time with Manchester city ever since joining the club from Bayern Munich, wining the premier league title for them in 2019 and won several awards with the club.
Goals yesterday against Crystal Palace came from John Stones in the 26th minutes with an assist from Kelvin de Bruyne, lyke Gundogan doubled it in the 56 minutes and John Stones again in the 68 minutes with a brace to make it 3 - 0 for City. Raheem Sterling sealed the victory in the 88minutes by making it 4 - 0 for Man city.
Manchester city had a total of six shots on target and three shots off target, while Crystal Palace had no shot on target and only two shots off target.
Manchester city out possessed the visitors with 73% ball possession against 27% for Crystal Palace.
With this result, Manchester city have claimed to 2nd position on the league table with 35points which is a good one for the boss Josep Guardiola on his birthday and Crystal Palace down to 13th position with 23 points.
