What is really love to you? A romantic feeling towards an opposite gender? Or just a feeling of attachment towards your personal ties or kin?
Although all these connotes love but I think the best interpretation of love should be "an unselfish loyal and benevolent concern towards the good of others". Which means this kind of concern towards the other person should be free from prejudice or expectancy of reward.
As humans we have often failed to realize that "love" is a necessity that we are created with, and we are not just created with it, we are expected to extend this benevolent feeling towards one another.
Love is a compassionate and non selfish feeling towards another person
