It rained heavily two nights ago. Each time it rains, I sleep better and wake up rejuvenated. I always know the next day after the rain would be very sunny because after the rain always comes the shine. On getting to the office, I discovered the fence of my office building had collapsed. On enquiry, I learnt that the wall composed more of sand than cement and so when it rained, the sand soaked up the water and the fence came crumbling.

This is the problem we are having on read.cash. We keep talking about quality post not getting enough upvote but then what foundation are we laying for future quality content creators.
When you see a low quality post (posts with scanty words, no complete thought or message, plagiarized or poorly written) and give an upvote, do you know what message you are passing across? An upvote means, "I love this, keep creating more contents like this". Do you think the writer seeing good votes on his or her post will ever stop writing low quality posts?
How about the quality content creators? We see the post, well researched, beautifully crafted with amazing content but then we move on without clicking let alone reading or commenting and when we click we complain it is too long and don't have the time. What message are you passing across? Hey! Look, you write well yeah but we prefer low quality posts so how about following the multitude and make it short and meaningless?
What foundation are we setting?
When you see a post of a higher level and prefer to vote that but act blind around a good post of a low level, what foundation are you setting?
