It came as not much of a shocker I must say. Especially knowing the kind of club they are and the kind of passion they have for this competition. PSG eliminated Rb Leipzig tonight in outstanding fashion and moved into the finals of this year's Uefa Champions league.
From the onset, they looked like the better team as they kept piling up the pressure on Leipzig and asking all the questions. The first goal came at the deserved time on the 13th minute mark thanks to dynamic midfielder, Marquinhos who was assisted by Argentine superstar Angel Di Maria. It was to be Di Maria's show today and he meant to make it one of a kind by also adding his goal to make it a comfortable 2-0 in the 42nd minute through Neymar Jr's assist.
Thanks to a shaky defence and errors from the keeper and the defenders, PSG made it 3-0 and Angel Di Maria was once again involved but this time feeding left-back, Juan Bernat to seal the win in the 56th minute.
A world class performance by the French club and a fine way to enter into the Uefa Champions League final for the first time in their history. They'll be taking on whoever comes out on top when Bayern faces Olympic Lyonnais tomorrow.
Quite a competition its been so far my friends. How would tomorrow's fixture end and who would face PSG ?? My prediction would be 3-1 in favour of Bayern, lol. Let's hear yours. Bye for now.
