"The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them"
Genesis 11vs6
For the very first time, I can boldly declare as a Nigerian that we didn't inherit the docility of our parents who will prefer to pray about things they need take action on.
Nigerian youths defied ethnic, religious and political divides to come together as one and fight Police brutality and world over, our voices were heard.
I realised as youths, if we chose to confront and fight our oppressors in one voice, we will always win. This is the main reason these old men politicians tries so hard, for their political gains to divide us along ethnic or religions lines. This sound more like an act from the biblical story of the tower of Babel.
Moving forward henceforth, I hope we can keep this energy of togetherness. Saw Moslems proudly declaring that after this is over, we'll all go to Rev Sam Adeyemi church for thanksgiving as he's one of few who deserves our tithe and offering. As for other religious leaders who turned deaf ears, they can collect their tithes and offerings from the POLICE FORCE.
I learnt the power in unity and speaking with one voice.
