Meet the new Mercedes EQE and AMG EQE SUVs 2022, 2023
Mercedes' brand-new electric SUVs will break performance and luxury barriers.
The 2023 EQE and 2024 AMG EQE SUVs are two lovely new vehicles from Mercedes that will brighten your Sunday. And certainly, the latter term denotes that Merc will provide a performance vehicle with an electric motor.
The EQE SUV will be our first focus. This will be Mercedes' fourth EQ vehicle, and while having a 119.3-inch wheelbase that is 3.5 inches shorter than the sedan's, the firm claims it is actually a touch more compact than the EQE sedan. However, it has a sporty appearance that will make you feel comfortable if you ever have to drive it over a somewhat rougher road.
One of the more intriguing things Mercedes highlights is its ability to remotely enhance battery performance by managing its battery software through over-the-air updates. No, that isn't really a revolutionary feature for EVs, but Mercedes has improved its technology to make it feel current despite the rapid advancement of EV technology.
Additionally, Merc emphasizes its "navigation with electric intelligence," which essentially just means that it can determine the quickest route while also accounting for recharge breaks based on factors like traffic or changes in your driving style.
With the 2024 AMG EQE SUV, we have kept the best for last. Due to its combination of room and performance, this is the German automaker's first-ever all-electric SUV from its performance line, and Mercedes refers to it as its "most adaptable electric car."
The "AMG Sound Experience," which seems like one of those ambiguous terms that indicates it will have its own set of EV-style noises to compliment a powerful sound system, is another feature Mercedes emphasizes.
Having said that, we are still awaiting further information from Mercedes. We don't know the actual release dates for any of the images in this post, which all feature the European model. We don't know the price either, but Merc's other EQ products range from about $50,000 to well over $100,000.
