What is BSDK?
BSDK, BHOSDIKE is not just an alphabetical term for academic support. BSDK, a full support package, includes additional services provided for the most senior and deserving students who are eligible for the major of Petroleum Engineering and for the students who aspire to become engineers in the future. According to the Report presented to the BHOS Rector by the special department of education of the national provider Academic Support and Training Council, it is proposed to provide BSDK services to BHOSstudents who are going to receive the high academic awards. Who qualifies for the services provided by BSDK? Students who are going to graduate (SMEs) after graduating from BHOS this academic year (2017/2018) and in the very next year will be provided with the special packages provided by BSDK.
Meaning of BSDK
As the name says, it's a set of basic subjects that helps the students to get the knowledge of all the courses of BHOS. As the students will get the knowledge of the major subjects including Physics and Mathematics only after they got full knowledge of BSDK. Some of the additional subjects are added to the BSDK as well as you can get the knowledge of additional subjects as BSDK included them. Definition of BSDK - With the creation of BHOS DIK it was decided that all the students who want to get their diploma would get an education at BHOS only. Since then they are called BSDK students. - They do not have any access to BHOS's libraries except for few (high education libraries). - BSDK students also do not get any special allowance from the HSE. - SDKs will study the BHOS courses only.
