As a kid I tried to imagine what the 21st century would be like. It seemed to me that there would be peace all over the planet, that people would explore other planets where they could fly as easily as we travel from city to city. Back then, I dreamed of becoming an astronaut and visiting other planets. But now, the 21st century has come and now it is unclear what we should expect next, whether our descendants will fly into space? What do you think?

I learned to read at the age of three, thanks to my grandmother. The first thing I read after the alphabet was Russian folk tales. I still love to read, although I read less than I did when I was young. Right now I'm reading Joe Dispense's Getting Out of the Habit of Being Yourself. In the Russian translation it is called "The Power of Subconsciousness", which reflects the essence of the book much more fully. Do you like to read? What book are you reading now? And this is the graffiti I photographed in 2013, in the Vietnamese city of Hoi An. The three of us were traveling at the time, crossing India, passing through Bangladesh, flying to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, passing from there through Laos to Vietnam, where I stayed for a couple of weeks on my own and my friends moved on. And then I went through Vietnam to Cambodia, and from there back to Thailand, from where I flew to Siberia from Phuket Island. It was a wonderful time of traveling around the world that didn't require much expense, but just the desire to travel! I wish all my readers to go on the journey of their dreams!

I don't know about you, but I like wall paintings, graffiti, as they are called. It's a lot more interesting than just the gray walls of houses. The main thing is that the drawings have to be good. This is the wall of the university building, which I pass by every day when I take the subway. Our city has more than a million inhabitants, so in the 80s they built the subway, which only big cities in Russia have. I wrote this and thought that there must be countries where there is no subway at all...

There is a flower in Siberia called the snowdrop. When spring arrives and the snow begins to melt, the snowdrop first blooms before the snow has even melted. And also "snowdrop" refers to cars that have stood covered with snow all winter and begin to thaw in the spring :) Write down what mood you're in today, friends! Be happy always!

Part of my job is to photograph the apartments I sell. Yesterday I showed buyers an apartment with a Christmas tree on it since New Year's Eve. Some Russian families have a tradition of not putting away the Christmas tree until winter is over. And since we still have snow on the streets, winter isn't over in Siberia yet, he-he! And today the buyers gave me a deposit for this apartment, which means that I will get my commission for the sale again. I'm having a great day! Were you having a great day today?

Today I just want to say that all the people of the world are much better off than the media make them out to be. We are disconnected by the media, by being told that some are worse than others. But in reality, all people are brothers and sisters on the same planet Earth. And we have nothing to divide, we all have enough room on the planet. People all over the world, the most important thing is LOVE. Not all this stuff you see on TV. If anyone knows what kind of flower I photographed in Vietnam, post it!

Cute creatures - geckos. I saw such a cluster of them when I came to the Vietnamese town of Hue, in 2013. When I lived in India, I was glad to have one or two geckos living in my room. It meant I was safe from mosquitoes and cockroaches. Geckos don't live in Siberia. But mosquitoes and cockroaches do :)) Do you have geckos?

The photo is of USSR money. This is the country that disappeared from the maps of the world in 1991. This money was backed by USSR gold and was not pegged to the dollar like all the currencies of the world are now. Now everyone in the world is dependent on the dollar, even though the dollar is just sliced paper. That's why I like BCH better :))

Yesterday I was reflecting on inner harmony, and today I'm thinking, if all the people of the world had that harmony in them, what would throw them out of balance? For example, some politician would gather a meeting of ministers and say - let us start a war. But why in our world does not everyone want to live harmoniously?

Pictured here is one of the beautiful evenings in Goa. And today is the last day of winter!!! Although we still have snow in Siberia, today is a small celebration - a farewell to winter! And today also marks the start of Maslenitsa, a week for Orthodox Christians when people in Russia don't eat meat, but bake pancakes and drink milk, and the next week is Lent, when people don't eat meat or dairy products until Easter. Some people don't eat meat at all because they are vegetarians. How do you feel about eating meat? Do you like kebabs or grilled chicken?
