Finding beauty in the ordinary. One day, back in Goa, I found a large painted flowerbed at a familiar crossroads. I was so pleased that the people had built this flowerbed and painted it so beautifully that I took a picture of it. They love their state and their streets and make them more beautiful year after year. Someone who walks past the flowerbed for the first time may not even notice it. But I know what the intersection was like when the flowerbed wasn't there, and how beautiful and ornate it became when it was built. Seeing the beauty in the ordinary, appreciating the simple things makes the mosaic of our lives! Do you pay attention to the beauty around you? India, Goa, Siolim-Morjim-Ambol Junction, 2018
