Amazing thing - went to work today to the far end of town and found a pond with ducks. Someone was even feeding them there by throwing bread. I've lived in this town for 19 years and didn't know there were places like that. I know the Indian state of Goa better than I know my own city. It never ceases to amaze me. A sign warning that if a tsunami is coming, you have to run another 300 meters to avoid being hit by it. I took this photo in Vietnam while driving to the Lao border to cross it and back to renew my Vietnamese visa. It was an amazing story, I drove across the country, made it to the border, but they wouldn't let me out and didn't renew my visa. I fell off the bike, crashed, it rained in the night, I went back and went back to the sea from the Lao border again. I have always marveled at the creations of human hands. In one of the Laotian cafes I saw an amazing table and chairs - a dragon carved from a large tree root. The craftsman did his best. This is my cat Polzun. When he is awake, he is full of feline nobility. One paw is always in front, as if for a kiss. This graffiti on the wall signifies the gaze of the Buddha. I don't know why, but in Nepal this is how they depict the Buddha - two eyes and a curl instead of a nose, no mouth.
