Beating the market 24th Jan 2022 To be honest with you I am not heavily invested in crypto. I am very interested of course and believe that the future potential for crypto assets such as 'Bitcoin Cash' could be huge. This is a plausible reality but of course it is impossible for anyone to forecast how things will be in say 10-15 years time. I like to have enough crypto to benefit from exponential growth, but also not so much that I would lose sleep in the event of a sudden downturn. I am more heavily invested in stocks and shares than crypto and began investing shortly after the economic meltdown in 2008 caused by the sub prime mortgage crisis. I decided then that I would take advantage of the fear and panic and expected the market to recover over time. I invested in a index tracker fund which continued on a downward path for a while but recovered swiftly and my strategy paid off. I took some profits, put them in a savings account where they would be safe and left invested the value of my original investment. One thing I have learnt over the course of trading stocks and crypto assets is that you need to have a plan, a strategy which you believe in and can stick to. Do some proper research before investing and remember the reason why you invested in that stock or crypto asset in the first place, if you strongly believe in the value of such an asset or stock, do not panic and sell at a loss. As a rule of thumb I say to myself, put the smallest amount in the highest risk, and diversify as well. I have mainly invested in funds which I have listed below. Legal & General US Index Fundsmith Equity Sanlam Artificial Intelligence Invesco CoinShares Global Blockchain Lf Lindsell Train UK Equity BNY Mellon Global Leaders  BlackRock Global Long/Short Equity The interesting fund among these is the 'BlackRock Global Long/Short Equity Fund' This fund aims to achieve growth under any market conditions by investing 'long' for example in some companies and 'short' on others. By going 'short' on a number of companies this fund can achieve positive returns in a falling market but also means that it will not rise as much in a climbing market. This fund aims to achieve stable growth and be less volatile. My strategy has been to take some profits when the going is good on some of my funds and stocks ie 'trim my positions' and 'limit my exposure to risk'. With the current swift downturn in tech stocks this strategy has served me well and my blacrock long/short fund is currently only down by less than 1%. This fund is basically a hedge against a falling market. I have also taken a small position in gold by investing in 'The Royal Mint Physical Gold ETC' Gold also tends to do well in times of uncertianty as it is seen as a store of value. I think it is a good idea to have a small holding of gold to have as an asset which behaves differently from equities. I have peppered my portfolio with a few individual stocks which I have listed below, some of which I took profits and closed my postions before the recent tech downturn. AAPL (Apple) V (Visa) PYPL (PayPal) MA (Mastercard) MSTR (Microstrategy) ETSY (Etsy) SQ (Block) HIVE (Hive) OCDO (Ocado) HOOD (Robinhood) COIN (Coinbase) Below I have explained a little bit about some of the companies I have invested in and my reasons for doing so. I have also included a link to each of their websites so you can check out these companies yourself if you wish to do some research. Apple for me is a stock to hold for the long term, they are a huge company and have a whole ecosytem for which many are tied into, they are a fashionable and trendy brand too with potential for significant growth for many years to come. https://www.apple.com https://www.apple.com/uk/ Microstrategy is a company which has invested heavily in Bitcoin and therefore their stock price is affected to a large extent by the price movement of Bitcoin itself, therefore it is volatile, but also it can be a stock worth buying in order to get some exposure to the crypto market. If you believe in the future of Bitcoin. https://www.microstrategy.com https://www.microstrategy.com/en SQ (Block) Is another company which is heavily invested in the crypto market, they enable buying and selling of Bitcoin via their 'Cash app' and also give you the ability to spend your crypto assets via a 'Visa' debit card connected to your account. https://squareup.com https://squareup.com/gb/en Hive is a canadian company which is the first publicly listed crypto miner, they have invested heavily in state of the art mining equipment and have a huge potential, though of course their future success is dependant on the future of crypto itself, therefore it is risky. For that reason I only have a small position. https://www.hiveblockchain.com https://www.hiveblockchain.com/ Coinbase is one of the best known crypto exchanges and I believe it has the potential for huge growth. They make most of their money on the fees they charge for trading crypto assests, so their stock price is not directly corralated to the price of crypto itself. https://www.coinbase.com https://www.coinbase.com/ I closed my postions in SQ, ETSY and MTSR at a profit a few months ago and also trimmed my positions in APPL, V and PYPL and moved the cash into my Blackrock Long Short fund which has acted as a parachute during the tech downturn. I still believe that these companies have a bright future ahead which is why I invested in the first place, though for the time being I am watching from the sidelines. With the current energy price crisis and possible conflict in Ukraine there is a lot of uncertainty around at the moment, but in reality, has there ever been a time when there wasn't? I can't say I have always got everything right while investing and my position in HOOD (Robinhood) is currently down 73%. Thats the thing about individual stocks, they can offer great returns but are also risky, thats why in general I prefer to invest in funds in order to spread the risk. Thankfully my position in HOOD (Robinhood) is small so I am not overly concerned. For me it is not worth selling at a loss and trying to guess the market, I prefer instead to stick to my strategy of putting my smallest amount in the highest risk asset. My strategy to beat the market is to diversify, take some small positions in higher risk assets, invest in companies that you believe in and understand, take profits and trim your positions from time to time and invest them in a safe haven such as gold or the 'Blackrock long short fund' Analyse the market for yourself as even the best pundits get things wrong. Don't let your emotions take over, stick to your strategy, don't trade too frequently be patient and wait for a clear opportunities. Disclaimer: This is not financial advice, it is only my opinion. I am only human and don't get it right all the time. I am just sharing my thoughts with you. Please do your own research so that you are fully aware of the risks of investing for yourself. Disclosure: I am invested in all the assets listed in this article and am not receiving any reward or incentive for writing about them. Just traded my DAI Stablecoin back to BCH, hoping for a bounce, F.U.D in play at the moment, fear, uncertianly, doubt. Russia, Ukraine situation, Freedom rallys and discontent growing throughout europe. Hold on BCH people its a rollercoaster ride, but the fundamentals are solid! A healthy community of BCH believers and a coin with a real world use case.. We are in this for the long run! 🚀🚀

A sensible approach? 17th January 2022 I have been concerned for some time about the global handling of the coronavirus pandemic. I do not consider myself to be anti vaccine, per se. In fact I agree that in many instances throughout history vaccines have been a force for good and in many cases highly effective. I have read recently about how the Japanese government have approached the current pandemic in regard to vaccination. You can read more about this here if you wish. https://tinyurl.com/werespectyourfreechoice In the aftermath of the second world war, Japan enshrined in its constitution clauses which enshrine fundamental civil liberties. In practice, this means it that Japan has not introduced lockdowns or compulsory mask wearing in response to the pandemic. Japan has the same approach in regard to vaccination stating that vaccination shoud be an entirely free choice for which an individual can excercise 'informed consent' meaning that they are fully aware of both the risks and the benefits of such a medical intervention. The health ministry are actively discouraging discrimination against the unvaccinated and state that workplaces should not put any pressure on their employees to get vaccinated. With this policy in place Japan has achieved a high vaccination rate and 80% of the eligible population are now fully vaccinated. They also saw a sharp decline in covid - 19 cases from August 2021 which puzzled many. Although cases may be rising again now they are faring just as well if not better than many developed countries which have enforced vaccine mandates and harsh lockdowns. I have also read in the last few days about an astonishing apology from one of Denmarks leading newspapers 'Ekstra Bladet' with the headline 'We failed'. They admit that it has been a failure of journalism to parrot the government line without question. You can read the english translation of the article here. https://tinyurl.com/newspaperapologywefailed It is clear to me that governments and the media to date have exaggerated the threat posed by coronavirus in order to achieve a high vaccine uptake. Has this been an ethical way of handling this crisis, using fear and control to pressure people into compliance and further to that has this method actually achieved its objectives. Maybe they would have won over more hearts and minds if they had just been honest with the general public from the start. One way that the facts about the coronavirus pandemic have been surpressed is by the use of 'fact checkers' Posts have been removed from social media platforms on the basis of the results of these fact checkers. In fact the question regarding the possible origin of the covid-19 pandemic, which some believe could have originated from a lab leak at the 'Wuhan Institue of Virology' was deemed to be a 'baseless conspiracy theory' until Joe Bidens administration deemed the alleged lab leak warranted further investigation. Check out this video below for more facts about 'fact checkers' https://youtu.be/cCOvFLlsjI4 We know for a fact that research on bat coronaviruses in the Wuhan lab was taking place, which was studying how to make these viruses more infectious. This has been referred to as 'gain of function' research and was in part funded by the United States. Dr Fauci, is an adviser to President Biden. He is also the director of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which is part of the US government's National Institutes of Health (NIH). They did in fact give money to an organisation which funded research at the Wuhan lab. That organisation, the US based 'EcoHealth Alliance' was awarded a grant back in 2014 to research coronaviruses from bats. EcoHealth received a total of $3.7m from the NIH and donated a sum of $600,000 to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Dr Fauci maintains that this research was not in fact 'gain of function'. It's certianly plausible that the virus may have escaped from the Wuhan lab. In my view probably accidently from a lab worker who become infected themselves. Will we ever know the truth about the origin of covid - 19? Has all this infringement on our civil liberties been worth it in the long run, given the huge amount of collateral damage to businesses, mental health, education, trust in government and so on. I think not personally, though I would be interested to hear your views. If you made it to here thank you for reading. Stocked up today, still got a bit of a cold, but all my lateral flow tests have been negative.

Is this really happening? Date 5th Jan 2021 Something doesn't seem right to me. I thought that we lived in a democracy here in the west though I fear we are fast becoming a dictatorship! Emmanuel Macron, the president of France said in an interview for the 'Le Parisien' newspaper that he intends to make life difficult for the unvaccinated. He said 'I really want to hassle them and we will continue to do this-to the end' To me this sounds quite threatening language, though it seems many people support him! France has recently taken away the option to provide a negative lateral flow test to visit many public venues. They are only a step away from forced vaccinations! Vaccinations are now mandatory in Austria and in Greece anyone over the age of 65 can be fined €100 per month for every month that they don't take the Covid 'vaccine'. You can read more about this here. https://tinyurl.com/jaborfine Here in the UK maybe we should consider ourselves fortunate that vaccines are not yet mandatory and that a negative lateral flow test can still be used to enter large events or nightclubs, therefore giving us the option to take a test instead of a vaccine. The Omicron variant of Covid-19 appears to be milder than previous variants and here in the UK, Boris Johnson has said that he wants to 'ride out the Omicron wave with no further restrictions'. Many have questioned if this is the right policy, though I feel that we need to try to learn to live with this virus sooner rather than later as it is not going away anytime soon. Surely we cannot be vaccinating people every 6 months indefinetly. I know there is a virus, which I know we need to be aware of, though the Omicron variant is much milder than previous strains and therefore much less of a threat. Shouldn't we all really be thinking about getting our liberty and freedoms back instead of having a narrow focus on the virus. Those people who diligently listened and obeyed their respective governments and took their first and second doses of the Covid vaccine thought that this would mean a return to normal soon. We are a long way from that, in fact the double jabbed will soon be classed as 'unvaccinated'. The definition of fully vaccinated will soon require you to be 'boosted' as well. The pressure on people to get vaccinated is immense, the unvaccinated have become 'The Others' a scapegoat to blame for this unfolding crisis, which will become an economic disaster, and plunge more into poverty. I have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure this is not some kind of nightmare. I respect your choice if you have chosen to be vaccinated, however the route we are going down in blaming the unvaxxed is immoral and wrong! To exclude them from normal everyday life in the name of 'public health' is wrong. How did we get here, many people in our society seem to have lost their ability to think for themselves? One explanation for the current crazy state of society is offered by Dr Robert Malone. He is a highly qualified Dr who played a big part in the invention of mRNA vaccines. Here is a clip from an interview on the 'Joe Rogan Exprience' in which he explains the 'Mass Phycosis' which is infecting the whole planet! Check it out here. https://youtu.be/Hkm-MkzvEZU What can I say, is this really happening? One thing I can say for sure is we must: Stay alert Stay awake Protect our liberty Save lives It is becoming clear to me that this whole 'pandemic' is being used to keep us in a constant state of fear and only a few 'scientists' know the way out of this. We are so afraid of dying that we have stopped living! I think the errosion of our liberty is of more concern than protecting us from the virus. If we are concerned about catching it there are many things we can do to protect ourselves. We can choose not to visit a nightclub or large venue, we can order our shopping online, we can wash our hands reguarly, take vitamin D, get regular exercise and eat well. We can never eliminate all of the risk in any area of life. Which is the most important thing to you, your quality of life and your social bonds or catching a virus that you are likely to recover from. Of course you can still catch the virus even if you are vaccinated, and the vaccine is not completely risk free either! This is why to take the vaccine or not should be an entirely free choice to the individual, without duress of coercion! If you made it to here, thank you for reading. What if there is a conspiracy to make everyone believe that there is a conspiracy, to distract us from the real agenda, so that we won't notice that they are conspiring to take over the world!! 😲😲

An hour and half till New Year 22, What will it be like for me and for you, The price of some crypto may rise or may fall, Some coins we are sure will go to the wall, Not fit for purpose, with a block size too small, BTC cannot scale, throw that in and all, We know BCH will win out in the end, Don't follow the market, just use it to spend!! Happy New Year to all the noise cash family and BCH fans. 🎉🎉

We are all fallen sinners saved by grace... If it were down to us, we would have no hope.. Those who are truly saved will reflect this by their walk.. Not wishing to sin against a Holy God, who has saved us at such a cost... Though we are fallen creatures and sin can 'BREAKTHROUGH' we are not 'IMMUNE' and need to 'TOP UP' our protection by regular prayer and seeking the Lords Guidance... When we come to the Lord and confess our sin, he forgives us freely, even though we don't deserve it!! We should always be more thankful for his mercy... We need to 'BOOST' our protection from a life of sin by regular prayer to the Lord. Satans devices come in many forms and 'NEW VARIANTS' 🥰🥰 My thought for the day... by picsandthoughts

Vaxxed or Unvaxxed you are an equal to me, All men created equal, one race don't you see, Endowed by the creator with unalienable rights, Life, liberty, happiness and for these we shall fight, We are governed by consent, elected by us, How to understand this, what does it mean thus, Whenever a govenment does push things to far, Should we sit back, do nothing, and just watch from afar, Be vigilant, sober and do watch and pray, That all of our freedom is not taken away, The right to assemble to pray to our Lord, Lets think about this and be of one accord, The virus, pandemic, the great reset, Own nothing, be happy they say, but forget, That we the awakened shall not be cast down, It's becoming clearer, but on us they frown, Speak up and stand up, for what we contend, The stages of truth will win out in the end, First it is ridiculed then violently opposed, This I do think but they only suppose, Self evident shall be the truths we proclaim, But they will still mock us, that is to their shame, We're peaceful and respect a persons free choice, In this do take comfort in, and do rejoice, The moral high ground do the media take, How did we ever end up in this state, Use your intuition, and see past the lies, The vaccine, the health pass is all a disguise, To soften us up for a digital id, To track us and to control us, you see, This short verse of mine I made up in my sleep, Be a free thinker and don't be a sheep! Original poem by me picsandthoughts Picture is my own taken in Snowdonia in July 21. 😊
