It's dark outside but much I have done,
A lateral flow test then out to get some,

Liberty and vaccine passports, how did we come to this! The double jabbed can still pass on covid with 80% vaccinated here in the UK this virus is still spreading rapidly. To make the unvaxxed a scapegoat to blame is a dangerous thing. They are merely exercising their liberty of conscience.

A winter walk only 6°c today but the sun is shining at least and I needed a little fresh air too.
Omicron cases are 'doubling' every 3 days here in the UK, government advice is to 'work from home if you can' from Monday.
Who knows what the New Year will bring! Another lockdown? I think so myself...
Though this new variant is said to be more transmissable but less severe.

Omicron and on and on
Winter has arrived and with it another new variant of Covid-19 called 'Omicron' which is said to have originated in South Africa and has now spread throughout europe and has, at the time of writing been confirmed in 6 different US states.
This new variant is also said to have 'mild symptoms' though may be able to spread more easily than the 'Delta' variant which is still the dominant strain.
Here in the UK there is pressure for the government to re-introduce restrictions which to date has currently been resisted.
My question regarding all this current panic, (which in my view is being hyped up by the media) is what will a new lockdown actually achive?
We have been living with Covid-19 close to 2 years now and in the UK nearly 90% of all adults have been vaccinated with a vaccine which is said to be '95%' effective at preventing serious illness.
We have stopped all incoming flights from South Africa, but this is really much like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.
The travel restrictions which have been in place since the vaccine became available has meant that only fully vaccinated people or those who have already recovered from covid have been able to travel, which means that the virus must have arrived here in the UK from someone who was fully vacinated, or a child under 12 who would not need a vaccine passport.
Do these travel restrictions make any sense?
Would it not be better to simply allow people to provide a negative test before they travel?
I mean if they test negative then they are not a risk to others, if they are not vaccinated they are only a risk to themselves surely.
Also if Covid is so highly infectious and they are worried about people travelling then why is more not being done to address the crisis at the southern border of the USA and also more not being done to tackle the issue of migrant making their way to the UK on overcrowded dinghys.
If the governments were serious about slowing the spread then surely tackling this should be a priotity.
I feel that the response to this pandemic has been disproportionate and is unfairly trying to blame the minority of people who as yet are 'unvacinated'.
The measures taken in tackling this have gone too far, hospital waiting lists are longer than ever, there have been many missed disgnosises for cancer and other life threatening conditions, people have lost their jobs, the economy has stalled, and the tax burden for future generations will increase to pay for all the quantative easing and furlough scheme.
Let alone the long term effect on children who have missed out on much of their education and had to do many of their lessons remotely.
The collateral damage is immense, though the official narrative dare not be questioned.
Covid-19 for which the majority of healthy people will survive has reshaped our world and our lives in ways which a few years ago would have been unthinkable.
If you are at risk from covid or have underlying health conditions, you are free to take the vaccine and of course take sensible precautions for example regular handwashing and practicing good hygine in general.
I am worried personally about the possiblilty of having to have a covid booster every year in order to live a normal life. The UK prime minister has already said that the definition of what it means to be 'fully vaccinated' may have to change to include a 3rd booster shot.
How have we come to this, and why is this whole narrative not being questioned more!
The media has the public under a form of mass phycosis, the object of anxiety is the virus, vaccines are the only solution is what we are led to believe.
Well we have had vaccines for nearly a year now and look where we are today.
This goes on and on and on!

Watching the Crypto markets in freefall! Just glad that I take profits from time to time when the going is good. It is so unpredictabe, even if you keep up with all the crypto news.
Decided today to swap some of my Dai stablecoin back to BCH, if we can be paitent and take a long term view the market will turn around I excpect!
In the meantime, I think its best not to panic sell at a loss, hold tight and remember the long term goal of BCH to become an alternative currency, which has low fees and is not under the control of any govenment or bank!
Finished my latest article this evening, feeling a bit fed up to be honest with all this hysteria over omicron! It goes on and on and on and on.

The Chi Variant
The year is 2029. The 'World Health Organisation' has issued a warning about a new strain of covid, called the 'Chi' variant.
Chi is the 22nd letter of the greek alphabet and soon we will run out of letters to name these variants after.
This latest outbreak began in the Vatican City after the Pope Francis tested positive for the new strain after hosting Bill Gates, Jack Dorsey and Jeff Bezos for talks on how to tackle the problem of overpopulation and food shortages.
Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates tested positive only after travelling back to the Peoples Republic of America and meeting a number of people at a conference on what to do about the ongoing threat of climate change.
General Kamala Harris, the supreme leader of the Peoples Republic of America has ordered the army to be on standby to help keep people under a strict lockdown to give Pfizer some time to develop a new vaccine to combat the latest strain.
This variant may have the ability to evade current vaccines which means that Pfizer needs to 'modify' them so they can help us get back to a normal life as soon as possible.
These vaccines are so highly effective of course that we need to have a modified version every 6 months.
They are so effective that cases continue to rise.
In the mean time many people have suffered in poorer countries due to the lockdowns and disruptions to the supply chain. They have been unable to work because of the constant lockdowns of which there seems to be no end in sight.
Many have been unable to provide for their families most basic needs.
Inflation has been at over 9% now in the Peoples Republic of America for the last year and a half, though this will only be temporary of course.
We must continue to do our bit, get our boosters, help big pharma to make lots of money, stay indoors and have as little social contact as possible and trust the science!
It won't be long now before we have this pandemic under control, we have learnt a lot about how this virus spreads and how to control it.
We have also learned a lot about how to control the world population.
***Below are some of my thoughts on the situation we are in currently with the ongoing pandemic.***
When will this pandemic come to an end?
We have complied with everything that has been required of us and things seem to be getting worse, not better.
I am begining to think that there is more to this whole pandemic than we originally thought.
This ongoing pandemic seems to be more about authoritarianism and controlling people.
We can never obey our way out of authoritarian rule! Vaccine passports people thought would liberate them but actually they have done just the opposite.
We are now forever at the mercy of the scientists who have obviously done so well in predicting how this pandemic would develop so far.
Our leaders have become weak, scared, unable to think for themselves, under the spell of the demi-god Dr Fauci, who may have a fair amount of capital tied up in big pharma.
Resistance seems to be futile, yet while there are still some of us who are awake and can see what is unfolding before us there is still hope.
Lets do what we can to maintain our ability to think for ourselves, to speak up, to warn others, who may think we are fools for questioning the great Dr Fauci and the science.
I will sign off this article with a quote from Thomas Jefferson who was the 3rd president of the United States.
“The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.”

For what it's worth I hope that things do get better and that this pandemic will be over soon.

My Glint card arrived today, I can spend my gold anywhere now, a bit of a novelty really, it's basically a pre paid debit card but your balance is held in gold instead of your local currency, when you use it the gold is converted to the local currency which the retailer recieves. 😊

We have been living with Covid-19 for more than a year and a half and though things may seem to be getting better it seems there is still a long way to go before life will return to normal. I mean normal in the sense of life as we knew it before this pandemic started.
Do you remember when you could go to see your doctor face to face or go with your loved one to a hospital appointment, rather than being told you need to wait outside.
Things are better in the UK than they were this time last year, we have fewer restrictions in place at present.
If you are 'double vaccinated' then you have a little more freedom than others, you are free to travel abroad, free to attend nightclubs and concerts as well, though you will need to use the 'covid pass' or 'vaccine passport' to prove your status.
I remember a time when our freedom to do these things was a given, not a privilege.
I can't help but look at the way life is now and think to myself, how much are we surrendering under the narrative of slowing the spread of Covid-19.
The debate around all this to me seems very one sided, we are told every day by the media that vaccines are the only way out of this though we have had the vaccine for some time now and we are still seeing spikes in cases and new variants.
In my view vaccine passports are a step to far. The introduction of these risks creating a two tier society where the 'unvacinated' are sneered at and made to feel that they are to blame for the new lockdowns. This risks victimisation of those who refuse to take the vaccine, which may be for any number of reasons, for example a medical condition, religious or philisophical belief, ethical concerns, or legitimate concerns regarding the safety and efficacy of the vaccines themselves.
In the meantime we are begining to see more widespread civil unrest, due to new lockdowns being imposed in Australia, Austria and the Netherlands.
There have also been protests in Belgium, Croatia and Italy regarding the introduction of the 'green pass' otherwise known as a 'vaccine passport'.
On Saturday 20th November 2021 police fired live bullets at protesters and injured 7 people.

The 'ministry of truth' tells us this is all about slowing the spread of Covid so we must all do our duty, get vaccinated, comply and then we will get our freedoms back, vaccines have now been made mandatory in Austria.
The problem to me with making vaccines mandatory is that it breaches the right of the individual to autonomy and self determination regarding the integrity of their own body, which is implemented in law by the individuals right to 'informed consent' which includes the right to refuse all treatment even if it 'may' be detrimental to their own health.
The state is interfering with the individuals right to liberty to act according to their conscience regarding medical interventions and could set a precedent for abuse of power and authoritarian rule.
We would be forced to disclose our vaccine status to live a normal life, though vaccine status is regarded as 'sensitive information' as it refers to health and as such should not be routinely disclosed to any cafe, bar or resturant which asks.
If you wish to have a vaccine I respect your choice, though if you do not then I believe we should respect that choice also.
This is all happening due to a virus which has around a 99% survival rate, some may question if this is correct though as with everything it depends on how you analyse the data.
I wonder where all this is going, this world is in turmoil and there is no end in sight to this pandemic, despite all the promises of the 'highly effective' vaccines.
Vaccinated people can still catch covid, still pass it on, though apparently this is less likely.
***'Vaccinated people are less likely to need hospital treatment'***
Well this may be true, it is debatable and we are still unsure how long vaccine immunity lasts. Here in the UK the government are pushing for everyone to have a booster jab, a third vaccine and in future this may become nesscesary for travel and other 'privileges'.
In Israel people are already on their 4th jab.
These vaccines are relatively new and no-one can be sure of how effective they will be at combating this virus in the long run.
No-one can be sure that there will not be any negative side effects in the future as a result of booster after booster.
Under the 'PREP' act (Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act) which was enacted on 30th December 2005, the vaccine makers have 'total immunity' from liability if something goes 'unintentionally wrong' with their vaccine.

Anyway I hope you found my article interesting, I guess at the end of the day we all have to decide for ourselves on the best course of action, be that to get vaccinated or not.
Like I said before if you wish to have the vaccine then that should be your free choice and likewise if not then that should be your free choice also.
I think it is wise not to blindly follow the narrative being given by the media and instead be free thinkers and question the true motives of the media 'the ministry of truth' who think they know best and that anyone who questions them is just ignorant or an anti vaxer.
They are dividing people against each other and it is quite disturbing to see what is happening to society before our very eyes.
