In the movie 'Divergent' society is divided up into different factions based upon peoples different virtues however there are some who do not fit into any such faction. They are known as 'Divergent.' These are the few people that can see through what this seemingly innocent plan is to keep the world in order by dividing people up to live within their faction.
To be discovered to be a divergent is very dangerous however and these people must behave as if they did indeed belong to a faction in order to maintain their own safety. They are regarded as a threat to the government because of their ability to think independently. They cannot be controlled.
This makes me think of the world we live in today. Which of these statements make the most sense?
That some powerful people may be corrupt and have a lot of influence, they use that influence to maintain power and grow their influence.
Or
Everything happens by chance, there is no corruption, no back room deals and that somehow people do not now have a desire for power and worldwide domination any more.
I wonder what you think.
Take the current pandemic for example.
The governments around the world are all acting in our best interest, they are nice kind caring people who only want to help us and have no intention of using their new powers to control us and tighten their grip on power.
Or
The governments around the world want to use this pandemic as a cover for implementing a 'New World Order' to work together as a form of global goverment to strip of our fundemental rights as human beings and help them and their buddies in big tech to get richer and richer.
Hmmmm
The mass surviellance and we see today is frightening. It is now much more cheap and easy to track people through technology such as gps data and facial recognition so it can be done on a massive scale. Artificial intelligence technology is advancing exponetially which lays all the foundations for the coming technocracy.
Taking something like a vaccine which has been created in less than 12 months should be the free choice of the individual, however we are being told that we must take this vaccine, it is our moral duty!
If we do not comply our freedoms will be restricted.
The world is heading towards a new kind of communism and most people seem to be unaware of what is really going on.
Covid-19 is a dangerous virus, no doubt but the overwhelming majority of healthy people will survive with no long term health complications.
Does this pandemic justify the mandatory vaccinations of young, fit and healthy people?
There will always be new variants, which will be able to evade the protection that the vaccine gives, we will never eradicte this disease.
This all seems to me more about control and power now than anything else.
Or maybe the global leaders are all lovely people and just want to help.
I think I can see through this, maybe I am a new kind of 'Divergent' but if I was I wouldn't tell you.
Maybe I am wrong, though we will see how this all goes over time for sure.
