How to make your own Leche Flan

INGREDIENTS:

  • 10 pieces eggs

  • 1 can condensed milk (14 oz)

  • 1 cup fresh milk or evaporated milk

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

PROCEDURE:

  1. In a sauce pan, combine sugar and water then heat until it caramelized with a nice golden amber color. Divide among 3 small llaneras and set aside.

  2. In a bowl, mix all remaining ingredients. Strain the mixture to lessen air bubbles for a smoother leche flan.

  3. Divide mixture among the llaneras then cover it with foil/cellophane.

  4. Steam on low heat for 20-25 minutes or until almost firm.

  5. Chill overnight or at-least 4 hours to set.

  6. Enjoy.
