Wolverhampton wanderers turned up the heat against Tottenham. Wolves were home and proved to be a worthy opponent to match Tottenham.
Tottenham got the early lead with the help of Ndombele's wonderful strike that came from a corner. He was perfectly set up and he finished in an exquisite fashion.
I was expecting a rout with that early goal but it proved to show Tottenham we're lucky to quickly get that early lead because Wolves dominated proceedings from there on.
Tottenham had chances to double their lead as they relied heavily on a counter attack but it was not meant to be. Wolves were resilient while bursting in attack.
Wolves got their win 4 minutes from time with Romain Saiss grabbing the goal and Tottenham were left heartbroken. Wolves could have gotten the win too but they were not precise enough.
In a match where you would expect Kane and Son to turn up the heat, they were hardly involved in the opponent's area. Tottenham need to get back to the drawing board and arrest this tide, else, they will move farther away from the top 4.
Wolves would be playing Manchester United next.
