Who would have imagined that the Champions would drop points against West Brom? I already concluded this match as a one-sided one even before they kicked a ball but I should have known better. This season has been full of surprises and it has been totally worth it.
As expected, Liverpool dominated proceedings and you could signal the intent to win the match with their play. Even though Liverpool lacked that edge and killer instinct but you would expect them to win this.
West Brom relied on the counter-attack and comfortably grew into the game since they didn't receive the killer blows from Liverpool yet.
Liverpool took the lead when Mane expertly scored and you would expect more goals to come but it didn't. West Brow pulled one back to snatch a draw when Ajayi scored off the post when it rebounded back into the net to the shock of Kloop who sensed this might have been the issue when they haven't been able to add to their tally.
Liverpool tried to search for the answer all through the match but they couldn't find it. Two points dropped but they are still at the top of the table.
What a season it has been. This time last year, they were already running off with the title.
