These are the amazing things I learned from Bro. Eli Soriano's teaching on the above-mentioned topic in addition to my own personal research as well.
Deuteronomy 4:2 (NIV)
Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.
There is only one Bible and all we have is the copies of the manuscript that was translated for us. God's instruction is the Bible we have with us today. We have copies of the only one and true Bible which was inspired by God for the apostles to write. We have manuscripts that dated as far back as 1,700 years like the Codex Sinaiticus manuscript of the Bible.
Who caused this confusion? They are the ones who do not understand and desire to obey God. They are the ones who chose to add to God's Word and even remove from it just to suit their own selfish interests. We have modern-day translations which most of us used too and they have distorted the truth and intended purpose of why God used those words just to suit their own sinful ways.
There is a curse for anyone who takes out or adds to it just to distort the truth and mislead the people of God into believing their own lies. Many people inject their own understanding into God's Word rather than what God intended.
Most of the translations we have now, translated the Bible into their own thinking forgetting that God's ways are different.
Isaiah 55:9 (NIV)
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
The issues we have based on a different understanding of the Word of God today is caused by hard-hearted people who can't obey God, who seeks only material gains with varying translations. It takes only those who understand God and are used by Him to translate the Bible accurately without any other motives.
You will know the truth and the truth will set you free. We all have access to the Holy Spirit who will reveal things and lead us into more truth in God's Word as we have many people translating their abridged version of either addition or subtraction of God's Word for their own interests.
Matthew 5:18 (NIV)
For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
