So many things we can never understand
So many seals placed on many faces
So many things buried under the ground
Everyone hurt wants to get their own pound
Where is the place for love and kindness?
A lot of lack of considerations in this world
Most people don't care who's ox is gored
As long as their greed is satisfied
How do you explain human trafficking?
How do you explain those who rape?
I can even mention domestic violence too
A lot of pain and hurt in the world
Perpetuated by people of like minds
I wonder how they get to sleep at night
When they have added sorrow to another's plight
All these things are not far from our sight
It requires a joint effort of determination and might
It is definitely a collective fight
Rather than spread hurts why not be a light?
This is never about who is wrong or right
This is not merely talking about the issue
If you can't make another laugh, at least offer a tissue
Life is best lived when we are focused on helping
