Don't you just love football for what it is? The surprise, the twists and turns as I would always love to call it. This is why we love it, the unpredictability of it and the thrills it gives.
Brighton took on Wolverhampton Wanderers and you wouldn't even think of how this game would go as they both could use the points.
Brighton took the lead early on with Connoly putting them ahead but Wolves came out fighting. From being a goal down, Wolves ran riot and scored 3 first-half goals. Adama Traore became a menace to Brighton players and probably the most lively player on the pitch too. He won the penalty too which Neves converted to make it 3-1 after Saiss scored brilliantly for the first goal and an own goal came for the second goal.
Whatever Brighton coach told his players worked as they won a penalty just seconds into the second half and Moutinho was the culprit. Maupay converted from the spot and it was all Brighton after then.
Brighton kept the pressure on Wolves and they finally got their headway when dunk levelled to make it 3-3. They had another goal ruled out for a foul which would have taken Brighton up to 4 goals on the night.
I must say that Brighton impressed me on the night because they dominated the match and Wolves only has to rely on a counter attack which still posed little threat to Brighton.
Otasowie had the opportunity to snatch it for Wolves before the final whistle after a darting run from Traore but he headed above. Brighton ended the game 3-3. What a brilliant come back from them and Wolves would have to see this as a loss, not a draw, I am sure, after being brilliant with 3 goals up.
