It is not only river Jordan that John the Baptist baptise
John 3:23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
It is stupid to say that you have to go to river Jordan to be baptized. It is not logical, it is not biblical, it is not visible. How can an African that do not have pieces of bread 🍞 to pay fare to Jordan? It is impossible!
But baptism is necessary for salvation
1 Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
