On this episode of The Nudge, I'm taking a challenge. I'll visit several restaurants, book a hotel, go supermarket shopping, and even get a haircut, all while spending cryptocurrency! I also get a chance to sit down with one of the primary on-boarders for crypto merchants in Colombia and Latin America, and ride my bike around for some surprising sights around the city!

The Nudge is all about traveling for cultural immersion, meeting liberty-minded folks, and living on cryptocurrency.

Services I mentioned in this episode:

BitRefill - Purchase gift cards from popular retailers to live on cryptocurrency. We both get $5 when you spend your first $50.

Travala - Book hotels, flights, and activities using a wide variety of cryptocurrency or credit.
We each get $25 with your first $200 spent.

Uphold - An exchange that allows you to buy many popular cryptocurrencies, and also spend them like credit with the Uphold Card. Get $10 in Bitcoin when you sign up, verify your account, deposit with a credit card or bank account, and purchase at least $250 in your favorite cryptocurrencies. You can even send it to your own (non-custodial) wallet, or give it as a gift to a friend.

Brave - A privacy-respecting browser, based on Chrome, available on both desktop and mobile. Enjoy features that safeguard against tracking, watch non-invasive ads, and earn the Basic Attention Token to tip your favorite creators.
